Hi everyone,
Question from a customer. I know there is a lot of posts around this topics since few years but no one can really help me to be clear on possibilities.
Context : purchase order created from MRP.
In order to optimize transportation cost, a specific vendor must deliver raw material only once a week, on Tuesday (eg, during December, vendor is able to deliver/come on our site only on 01st, 8th, 15th, 22th or 29th).
Morever, we have to group required quantities per month.
So first, I will apply a coverage group set up with "period = 30 days" in order to group requirements.
Then, do I have to set up a calendar into the vendor form ?
I'm thinking about the delivery schedule feature in purchase order line but :
Have you already met this kind of user case and how did you manage it ?
Many thanks for your feedback Community ;-)
Eric
Hi Victor,
Thanks for your reply - I'm not sure to clear understand what you mean but let's assume there is no relation with my intention (to group supplier allowed delivery dates from the MRP perspective)
Hi there,
if the intention is to show the quick view results is another tool as a frame, you must have in consideration that the criteria you want to search must be maintained in a field that is configured in the search list of each Quick Find View entities.
Said that, the URL to be called is: myorg.crm.dynamics.com/.../multientityquickfind.aspx123&option=0&pagemode=iframe
Replace the red text with the text you want to use as the criteria.
Hi Eric,
I think that the best option is “Vendor calendar”.
However, in the current functionality, the Vendor calendar handles Order dates and Delivery dates at the same time.
There are some ideas on the portal that you could vote on, so that this may be potentially changed in future versions:
