AIF WebService XSD Schema contains errors

Hi Pros,

I used the AIF Service Wizard of Dynamics 2009 to generate a WebService based on a query. For one of my services I get the Error "XSD Schema contains errors." when I use the generated job to create the XSD file or when I try to activate the service.

The Error tells me further that elements with the same name must have the same Type.

For me this sounds as if it is not possible to use a join of two tables with a similar named field with two different datatypes in each table. I located such a field in my AxdQuery but I am not shure if this really is the reason for the failure.

Has anybody experiences with this behaviour? Is there a workaround except for changing the datatype at one of the fields?

2 similar tables can be joined as long the name in the Query is different.

always have outerjoin

and valid relations.

Hi Dick,

the Error is not about the Query, it is about the XSD_Schema that is generated from the Query.
