Hi,

I have a VPN set up for our office. I can connect and logon to the domain(on which the nav 2013 runs) through the vpn. I can ping and reach the server that has the Nav sql as well as the Domain Controller. but when I run the Nav 2013. I get the error:  The server "net.tcp://<mynavconnecction>" is either unavailable or your connection has been lost.   But when I logon with same account to the domain on the same local network. (Without using vpn) it works.  Please I need your help

Thanks

You should check your connection through port 7046. Review your network security layout (local firewall, server firewall, routers or network firewalls...). If your problem persist, please let me know.

    Good luck!

Even with my firewalls turned off. I still get the error.

    Thanks

I've found entering domain credentials on the PC for the NAV server address in control panel resolves connection problems to NAV using a VPN.

Navigate to Control Panel>Credential Manager then select 'Add a Windows Credential'. In here enter the IP address or name of the NAV server as the 'Internet or network address' value. Then enter your username and password for the domain (you may need to enter the username as DOMAIN\username for this to work). Then try accessing NAV again with the VPN connected.

I added the windows credential as you suggested but still has not worked.
