I have line items populating into a Sales Order from a Salesforce Quote via a middleware tool called RapidiOnline. We sort the line items in the Quote according to logical association, but when they land in NAV they revert to an alphabetical order (this is a function of Salesforce apparently). The folks from RapidiOnline are working on a solution for us but my question is...is there a way/function to easily sort these line items on the Sales Order? I've been told this is just not possible and they simply remain in the order they are added...if we are to match the Quote (which we must) they have to be manually added in the same order and modified to match price/discount on the Quote. Running NAV 2009 R2. Thanks in advance!

The Sales Line has key of Document Type, Document No. and Line No. and they sort in that order, so when you insert the items you need to make the sure Line No. is incremented in the way you wan to sort.
