Surveys disappeared after the owner user leave the company

Hello Everyone,

We discovered some of the surveys become inaccessible due to the owner user account had been deactivated about 30 days ago.

Since there are important data in the surveys and we do not have backup template of the surveys, is there any way we can recover the surveys and transfer the ownership of the surveys with the global administrator account?

Please help. Thanks.

AFAIK the ownership has to be shared by an existing user to another user. If the owner is no longer around, I don't think there is a way to get access to those surveys. Microsoft has started emailing the owners if there are less than a set number of owners (5?) on a survey.

As a last resort, you could try opening a support case with Microsoft.
