Can't Login Into CRM with Basic Security Role???

So I wanted to create a security role with minimum access to assign to users.  I did this basically allowing only access to accounts that are created by the user.  When the user tries to login into CRM however they get an Access Denied error.... When I switched the security role to something like System Admin they can login.

Is there somewhere in the security role itself that controls just being able to log into CRM?  This is Dynamics 2016 online.

    Thanks for the link!  The screenshot on the article is not displaying for the privileges needed under the Customization Tab.  Would you be able to provide those?

    There are few other privileges needed (Organization, Business Unit, User, Currency, Post, User Settings UI etc.).

    You can also copy a OOB role with minimum privileges (Salesperson, Marketing Professional) and modify the copied role.

    When the user is able to login with System Administrator role, he/she should be able to login with another Security Role (other than System Administrator) assigned to him/her.

    There isn't a log file to download.  They can't log into CRM at all with this role, it doesn't let them into any page.

    If you are able to download the log, you can find out the missing privilege.

    This could be because, the user does not have permission to access the start page after logging-in.

    Try to change the Personal options with the page they have access to (example accounts home page).
