how to create a bank transfer request letter to the bank?

Dear 

I have a bank transfer request that i usually send to the bank , it is a word document with specific information like 

  • Beneficiary name
  • Address
  • Bank Name & Address
  • account number
  • IBAN
  • Swift/BIC

i would like to do that with the method of payment, 

can you please clarify , how i can set it up and how i modify my template exactly ? is it through VS or through AOT?

your help is greatly appreciated

    This sounds like a country specific requirement. Can you let us know for which country and bank this document is required?

    hello ludwig

    the bank transfer template is not country specific , it is a simple letter with variable fields requesting the bank to execute a transfer to a specific account. is there any way to do this in AX

    Hi Silvano,

    The customer record has a functionality 'generate from template' where you can define your own reports based on a simple Word/Excel template document. You need to test if this one can be used to satisfy your requirement. If this is not the case you will probably need to develop some customized report yourself.

    thanks for your feedback, that would be perfect if it was on the payable side, but i am investigating your solution , it seems that it only works for customers

    so if i understand correctly , there is no such thing as a fund transfer request to be generated inside AX

    right ?

    Right. There is no standard feature for that purpose available and you have to build something yourself. Best regards
