Problem with direct deliver sales order

When I try to process the purchase order receipt for a direct delivery sales order I sometimes receive and error like the one below:-
 
 
If I then switch to the referenced sales order SO110016690 and try to add the Warehouse and batch number to the sales order I receive the message below which prevents me from adding these inventory dimensions.
 
 
I do not know what the /Inventory marking/ button is so can anyone advise how to correct this so I can complete the order?

    As we are using AX 2012 I read the older thread.
    Unfortunately it still did not help. The 1st line said "Use the Inventory>Marking to remove the marking" but when I click on this I cannot see any option on how to do this so I could not proceed any further than line 1 of the suggested fix.
    What to do on the Inventory marking screen?
