Hello Experts,

Firstly, I would like to know what's the name of the process of the Qualify Lead workflow?

What I want to modify/add in this workflow the following:

I have created 3 fields in the Opportunities entity, Country(Single line of text), Main Target(Single line of text), Target 2(Single line of text).

In the Lead entity, I have the same fields as I mentioned above but the type of fields are different (Options Set).

The Qualify workflow tracks the topic of the Lead and updates the same topic name in the Opportunity entity, and some other fields either create an account for a user.

My requirements are to tracks the fields Labels selected in the Lead I've mentioned and directly when the Lead is qualified I want to update these fields to the Labels selected from Leads.

Please take a look at the screenshots below:

Could you please provide example and explain in detail how can I achieve the following scenario?

Hello Paul,

Actually I didn't know that I should create them as Global Option Sets so after I have followed this tutorial:

Global Options Set

I have achieved my requirements using the option sets data types. Thank you very much for this helpful hint (That they should be Global Options set).

I have also created them as options sets, unfortunately, the data is only transferred if their data types are texts.

Thank you for sharing these helpful posts.

Now i can map the fields between those two entities but it works only if the data types of the fields are texts, not option sets. Because I have also tried to use the same data types as options sets didn't work.

Hi, just curious why you created them as different data types? If they are the same you can just map the fields so that information gets transferred when you qualify the Lead.

As data types of the fields are not same between entities, you won’t be able to use OOB relationship mappings. So, you will need to write some custom logic using Plugin, Workflow or Power Automate to update the fields on the Opportunity on create/qualify.
