Hi,

I have entity subscriber and field subscriber status in it. I would like to check the subscriber status value for all the records like which are active and expired.

With this condition I would like to set counter value , how many active subcriptions and expired subcriptions.

Finally I need to display those count values in some field in same entity or different entity.

Would you please help me here. I have been stuck.

    Hi,

Can you please add rollupfield_status and rollupfield_date field on the form to see the content.

_status field will tell you the reason of failure calculation

    Hi bipin,

I am attaching the screen shots as you requested, I have created the rollup fields in contacts records, putting the variable into header of contact entity, the rollup field getting value from subscription line entity based on value of subscription status field on it

You should go with rollup field instead of writing code  as suggested above without writing any code.

Hi Pedro, I tried using roll up field, but it doesn't giving the result. And I am new to dynamics CRM. So I am expecting the sample plug in code to achieve this

    Hi,

You can create rollup field to count the child records based on filter condition -

    Hi Venkatesh,

The perfect situation is you have a parent entity where you can see all the subscriber and you can create a rollup field. This rollup field you can configure to calculate all the subscriber in a specific state. If you don't have that field and you have some entity where you have statistics you can register a plugin or a Power Automate whenever there is an update or create increment or decrement the value.

In the same entity you could use the plugin approach as well, but you will need to update all the other subscriber, like that whenever you open any subscriber record you could see the right value, but this approach and depending the number of records can reach easily the 2 min. and you need to control very well the Depth of that plugins.

If you don't need to have that value always updated in the backend, is calculate that value through a Javascript or having a PCF that does that calculation and like that you a live value.

    Thank you,

    Pedro Azevedo
