Hi, all!

I try to investigate a Warehouse Mobile Device Emulator in AX 2012 R3, but have faced to problem with LogOn to.

It starts successfully on Browse action from IIS site navigation tree, opens a Sign in to AX WEB Form with "User Id" an "Password" fields but nothing happens after credentials input. I have tried several accounts among AX Users with "Warehouse mobile device user" Role assigned, but still nothing.

Could any one help me with this?

Does opening WHSWorkExecute form and entering the work user credentials work?

Hi JaxAxDynamics,

Are you using the standard demo company or did you create your own company for testing? Can you indicate if you did setup the device workers? Do you have setup the mobile menu's in the AX client?

Note that the role is only needed for the internal user which is running the mobile device portal.

Hi JayAXDynamics,

I've seen this problem when the AX user linked to the service account of the Warehouse Mobile Device Portal has a different default company to the user which you are attempting to use to log in to the handheld.

From memory, the service account that WMDP is using can be seen on the Application Pool in IIS Manager. This user account is a user in AX (and should have the 'Warehouse mobile device user' role). The default company of this user should be the company which you wish to use WMDP with.

The Work user which you are logging on to the handheld with is associated to an AX Worker (at Warehouse management -> Setup -> Work users -> Worker). The AX Worker is associated to an AX user (at Sys Admin -> Common -> Users -> User relations). The default company of this AX user should be the same as the default company of the service account user above.

The company in which you set up the Work users needs to be the same as the company of the service user.

No, it doesn't works. Red line appeared on the top for all credentials. Regarding to opening WHSWorkExecute form.

Thanks, guys, a lot!

Error solved after proper setting up of Worker in Warhouse Management->Setup->Work User->Worker.

There was a default User Id: DC.

I just added another one.
