Is there an easy way of uploading a series table to Nav, we now enter each series line one at a time.

You can use Rapidstart services (and import the series from Excel), this is a common way to do. Just select the No. Series table on your Rapidstart package.
You want to import the Lot Nos. in item tracking line ?
Since you are in Version 5.0, you don't have Rapid start in your database so you can use the Universal excel importer tool to import the data from excel.
