Stored procedure not existing in model database

After upgrading Dynamics AX 2012 R3 from CU7 to CU10 we have the following error in event log:

Object Server 01:  The database reported (session 1 (-AOS-)): [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Could not find stored procedure
'AX63_PROD_model.dbo.XU_IsModelIdInstalled'.. The SQL statement was: "{ CALL [AX63_PROD_model].[dbo].[XU_IsModelIdInstalled](?, ?) }"

Kernel version is: 6.3.4000.538

Application version is: 6.3.3000.110

SQL Server : 2012 SP3 Standard edition x64

AOS is installed of Windows Server 2012

I look in other model databases and also into the backup of model database we did before an upgrade. There was no such procedure. Can you check on your installation if it exists?

The kernel we are using is one of the newest (25 June 2016) so it might be kernel related bug but I would like to ask you if you have this procedure or did you had similar issue.

Regards,

Sebastian

Just a guess - did you call Initialize-AXModelStore (or the corresponding axutil command) after installation?

    Hi Martin,

No we did not. The compiled model store where imported using axutil importstore. Should we run it? I guess this is only for new installations not for in-place upgrades.

    Hi Sebastian Widz,

If you will run command Martin mentioned it should create all required store procedures

We got similar error on our environments after we upgraded the kernel only from CU8 to CU10. Although the application works fine but we have this event logged on to the AOS and it takes more than the usual time when restarting the AOS service.

You know the keyword, so you can copy it and paste it to a search engine to find more information. It's exacltly what I did to find a link to a documentation page for you: How to: Create, Drop, or Reinitialize a Model Store.
