Create Buttons to move through BPF Stages

Hello,

My BPF has the following stages:

Prospect (Lead) -> Opportunity -> Prequalification (if field 'Prequalification Required' is checked in Opportunity stage) -> Estimation & Pricing -> Awarded

When in Prospect, there is the 'Qualify' Button on top which creates an Opportunity from that Prospect. I am wondering if I can create similar button in each phase of the following to: create 'Prequalification' from Opportunity, Estimation from Prequalification, and finally Awarded from Estimation because how it is being carried out currently is not very user friendly. (Images below)

A) From Prospect to Opportunity: (Ideal)

Prospect-to-Opp.JPG

B) Opportunity to Prequalification: (Not very user friendly)

opp-to-preq.JPG

1 - Click on the red dot of Opportunity

2- Set 'Prequalification Required' to Yes if we want to go to Prequalification  or to No if we want to go Directly to estimation

      3- Click 'Next Stage'

4 - Click '+ Create' to create new Prequalification Record

C) Prequalification to Estimation & Pricing: (Not very user friendly)

preq-to-est.JPG

      1) Click on the Red Dot of Prequalification Phase

      2) Set 'Prequalification Status' to Qualified

      3) Click on 'Next Stage'

      4) Click on '+ Create' to create a new Estimation & Pricing record

So I'm trying to create a button like 'Qualify' that takes a Prospect to Opprotunity (Image A) for B and C. Or at least if I click on Next Stage in B and C, directly create the records instead of opening a dialogue to click on '+ Create' on the bottom right. Is this possible? I tried going to Ribbon Workbench but I didn't know exactly how to proceed from there.

Thank you in advance for any possible solutions.

    Hi Joseph Nasr,

These articles explain how to use JavaScript to go to next stage in business process flows. You can call these JavaScript functions from a custom button using the Ribbon Workbench.
