SQL security questions

Hi all of you,

I am stuck, just seeing how in most Navision implementation all the end-user has its own SQL schema using its own domain user name.

At the same time all of the users are granted on master databases with GRANT SELECT ON [sys].[sysprocesses]

All of this seems to me like bad practices.

In a database I've seen under Application Roles option dozens of Application roles nickmamed as :

'$ndo$ar$nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn'

    Thanks Roberto, I've located xp_ndo.dll in %systemroot%\program files.

    And? It is not deployed in our Navision but Navision works properly. I don't get the point with all the comments on the above link
