When a Field Changes move the old data to a different field

I am relatively new to Dynamics. I have created a field in a form. What I need to do is when that field is changed to put the old data in to a new field. For example, I have field1 and some one changes the data in field1 how can I copy the old data that was in Field1 to field2? Thank you!
