Hi. After a recent Microsoft update, I find that the Ledger account statement by Dimension shows the opening balances (which was an earlier issue).
However, when I take the dimension statement by using Primary Dimension Set as Main account + Employee (we have employee dimensions enabled from the beginning), the report brings the opening balance separately and the employee transactions separately. All transactions in the account are posted with employee dimension.
As you see here, the employee (Ahmed) transactions show with opening balance 0 while it is included in a lumpsum amount in the OB of the report. This totally defeats the purpose of having dimensions in the first place.
The report should be showing the opening balance by employee. By this statement, we are unable to know the opening balance of the employee, due to which their final loan balance is wrong.
Is there any way to fix this and get the report to show opening balance respective to each employee when the report is taken by employee dimension?
