working with D365 FO and LogicApps

Good morning,

Can anyone help me figure out the cause of this error ?
I cannot create a logicApps application in which I want to use the D365 Finops connector.

Hy Naycene,

Logic App needs to be registerd to access to Dynamics 365.

Hi ,

In Azure, for each functionality, there's a resource provider ( Microsoft.Logic for example).

By default, your Azure Subscription is not registered with all resource providers and because your Subscription is not registered with Microsoft.Logic resource provider, you're getting this error.

You can refer the below link to set up this :

Thank you very much for your responses.

I have two subscriptions (Azure Active Directory Access and Microsoft Azure Entreprise)

Now when I create the logic app for a file based integration with D365 F&O, if I choose the Active Directory Access I can see in the Resource groups, the environments hosted on the cloud including my dev environment as shown in the image below.

After finishing this development, if I want to test it on a sandbox UAT environement, how can I deploy it ? and same thing for the Production environement ?

Hy Naycene,

may be there is a little bit of misunderstanding yet. For Microsoft management environments you can't access the storage within the UAT Sandbox or Prod. environent direct. You can authorize against the environment and use connector or API's to get and put data form data management framework.

Perhaps you can describe your requirement a little bit to understand what the process could be.

Hi Andreas, thank you for taking the time to respond.

The requirement is to detect a file (txt file) creation in OneDrive which triggers the action to create records in a custom entity that I have created in D365 F&O, the records will be the data contained in that txt file. After this process, the file will be moved to a folder to indicate that it has been integrated in D365 F&O.

Hi,

We had a similar requirement. Instead of using One drive, I installed On-premises gateway and configured the input/Completed/Error folders in the machine for different environments.

You can use the ARM template to deploy logic apps for different environments. Create a resource group for each environment and you can deploy your logic apps entities .
