Hi All:
I had filled a record and had saved it in Budget Register Entry, yet the error blow still had happened. I checked it but couldn't found out the reason. Could you teach me how to solve it?
error:
1)No dimensions are defined for budge
2)Field 'Reference' must be filled in.

    Hi Jacky,

For the first error, please check if the basic setup is completed for budget entry. The setup steps are provided in this link.

For the second error, is there any customization done? It looks like an FK field has been added and the label hasn't been defined for it. This is why it is calling the field "Reference". Looks like the field has been marked mandatory as well. Filling in value into this field will take care of this issue.

    Hi Gunjan:

    Thanks for your reply.

There is not any customization in Budget Module.

    Hi Jacky

Gunjan is correct. As there are no customisations I can help you find the field that is causing this. Could you confirm that this occurs on line level?

    Hi Jackie,

Since you say there are no customizations, the only field that could be causing the issue is "BudgetTransactionHeader", which is set from the header table.

What environment are you getting this error on? Is this a Tier-1 or Tier-2 environment?

    Hi Pete, Gunjan:

Thanks Pete. It's on line level.

I deleted the record and add a new one again, it is strange that the issue disappeared.

    Hi Jacky,

I think it is the BudgetTransactionHeader field which was causing the issue. On re-creating the line, it was set properly. If this is a Test environment, please try creating a new budget entry again and check if you can reproduce the issue.
