How do I add the customer portal feature to my Dynamics?

Posted on by 165

So I have been researching and many sites are saying that in order to add the portal to your CRM you need to login to the admin portal which I do. Then go to admin centres and choose Dynamics 365.

Now here is the problem I don't have the option 'Dynamics 365'. Is there something that I need to do or is there some sort of different option?

I'm on the Dynamics 365 Plan 1 so surely I should have access to the portal?

All help is much appreciated.

    Hi,

Go to https://portal.office.com/and click on the ‘Admin’ tile. (remember to log in with Office 365 Administrator account)

    Thanks,

    Sandeep

Yes I do. I have now managed to go into solutions and click the edit button. However I don't have customer portal as an option to install.

Do you have global administrator role in Office 365 portal?

I've managed to sign into the Dynamics 365 Admin Centre however, I don't have edit button next to solutions in fact I don't even have solutions.

    Any ideas?

    Hi Kamil,

I suppose you are not able to access the "Dynamics 365 Admin Center"

If you are using the online account you can check this link

technet.microsoft.com/.../dn786374.aspx sign in to the Dynamics 365 Administration Center

Enter the url based on the region of your instance.

Navigate to "Applications" tab to configure the portal addon
