Microsoft D365 Finance and Operations

Random blank purchase orders are being created by Admin accounts that are not active users. I am pretty sure that this is being done by a batch job named "Schedule batch job for purchase order generation"

I am unable to test this theory currently, does anyone know for sure if this could be the batch job associated with the issue?

If not, do you have any other ideas on where they can be originating from?

Can you clarify if your question is related to Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management or Business Central?

Created as Admin could possibly be through a batch job, recurring integration, package integration (check Data Management Workspace for these two) or directly through OData. Also take a look in System Admin, Microsoft Entra ID applications, and registered in this form to use the Admin account could be creating PO headers as Admin via OData.

Is there any obvious pattern to the creation? e.g. do you get a PO header every day at the same time?

Hi, I know its been a while but did you get to the root of this issue? We are facing the same in Production and I think the issue is because we set this batch job in each legal entity.

Appreciate your response.
