Creating project groups

Hi

I have little experience using Ax and have run into a problem setting up project groups. I'm working on a new/clean installation of Dynamics Ax 2009.

The problem is that the "Project Groups" form doesn't allow me to enter any information. The fields are all read only (or appears to be). I'm wondering what prevents me from editing these records?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hey, thanks, but it doesn't matter if i'm logged in as administrator. The problem remains.

Any other suggestions. Maybe another table that needs to be initialized?

    Hi,

It must be a permission problem as spot said because am checking the form from my client and i can edit and create new project groups with any setup reqired, Please check the permissions again.

    Hmm, i'm guessing you're right.

Currently i'm logged in as a member of the administrator group. I've have created another group "Super Users" to see if that made any difference, but with no luck.

I've made sure that everything(!) is marked as Full Control under Administration->Security->User Group Permissions for the relevant groups and that the user (multiple users actually) are in the right groups. Should anything else be needed?

     Thanks again.

I checked the security settings and they seem to be in order. I also recompiled the app and synchronized.

Nothing has changed. Im still not able to create project groups.

Works now. I enabled everything under Administration->System->Configuration->Project. Some parts were disabled which apparently led to the issue.

Thanks alot for all you help. Greatly appreciated!
