Approved data integration from Workflow Issue

Hi everyone,

I have a workflow for an HR process. I need to transfer the approved lines to the main table. For this task, I have written code in the insert method of WorkflowTrackingTable.

It was working fine on the live environment. Yesterday I noticed that it has missed some of the entries.

I don't know why? Tried very hard to find the pattern of missing entries. e.g for a worker 1 entry is missed out of 4 entries etc.

why WorkflowTrackingTable insert method is not called for some entries?

NOTE: the workflow is submitted and approved on an EP page.

Please Help me in this regard.

    Hi Khurshid,

    I don't know what exactly you want to achieve and at what moment. If it is about doing another action at the time of approving a work item, I would initially not consider to change anything on th WOrkflowTrackingTable, but on a action method of the workflow class. To be able to understand the scenario and your situation better, you need to provide some more detailed information. Also explain what you mean with the main table.

    I want to update a data in AX default table (main) upon approval of the workflow. That's why I used WorkflowTrackingTable insert method (As it maintains workflow History).
