Using more than one publisher when creating different solutions

Hello

I am working with an organization that has 3 solutions being developed for Dynamics 365. I am with the idea that each team creates their own publisher while the other two teams want to have ONE publisher used by the 3 teams.

My argument is that it makes it very easy to identify who added a specific entity or field to the common entities (like Account, Contact, Lead, Opportunity etc.).

What is your preference and why?

    Hello,

Technically, the publisher of the solution just drives what prefix is given to custom entities/custom fields/webresources created in the context of that solution.

Personally, I don't have preferences. If your goal is just to identify who added the particular component - that sounds like a good strategy.

If my reply (or replies) answers your question take a minute and verify the answer. You can do it by clicking "Yes" at the top of the reply (or replies) under the label "Does this answer your question?"
