HI,

While I'm doing setup for fixed assets. So I just wanted to know if I will run the calculate deprecation will it insert the lines in FA G/L Journals..?

Yes, if you run Calculate Depreciation creates lines in an FA G/L journal, refer the below for more detail.

I'm following the same mathod but its not inserting lines in fa g/l journal is there any set for it...

Check in FA journal only.

Have you integrated the GL with FA in FA Deprecation Book.

Check the correct journal batch, you might be looking at a different one. Also, make sure that the depreciation for this period has not been already calculated - for this, try calculation for a different future period. Also, check that your asset is depreciatable.
