We use GP to create our products. We are currently building our products as manufacturing orders.
Does GP allow you to assign customers to a job order. I ask because the manufacturing are not assigned to a customer. We have no way of tracking Jobs to customers as result.

I'm not an expert of the Manufacturing module in GP, but my thinking is that in order to support such a functionality, you'd need to tap into ISV products like WennSoft Job Costing from Key2Act..
There are also other MFG ISV products like Horizon, but I'm not familiar with those.
Maybe some MfG experts can answer here..

Typically we think of a Sales Order ( which has the Customer ) being linked to an MO ( i.e. the MO created from the SOP line ).
Also, you can use the Job Costing piece of MFG to add a Customer to a Job and then link the Job to the MO. There are a number of resources on the internet if you need assistance with Dynamics GP Job Costing.
