Workflow based on Organization wide association

Hi Team

Is it possible to change the association from the organization wide to entity based ? Currently few workflow have been designed on organization wise. But we want to be related to Legal Entity wise workflow for the approvals which considers particular entity

Hi Sindhu,

Which exact workflow or workflows are you referring to? Depending on the workflow, you can set activation policies based on legal entity context. E.g. the purchase requisitions has a field 'Buying legal entity' which can be used for that purpose. If the document table does not support a field which could identify a legal entity, then it is not possible.

Hi Sindhu,

Out of the box, there is no way to change association for workflow based. Association settings based on workflow template configuration. I share a screen on "LedgerDailyTemplate" workflow association type settings.

You can develop or create customization a workflow for your needed form.

Additionally, here you can see which module uses association type.

Hi Andre

Thanks for the reply. The workflows are developed by our support vendors. So we don't have option to change it and cannot find legal entity. Then I will create an extension changing the association type to entity base.
