i am getting this return url i should not get can anyone help

Based on your description, the portal can redirect to the page you provided after the user logged out, Right?
Have you do some customizations for the 'Header' web template, just like following link:
Redirect to Login page always after logout in Dynamics 365 Portal | Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Tips and Tricks (inogic.com)
By default, the portal will stay in the same screen you were in before you logged out.
Default source:
