You cannot do this using Marketing Campaigns, tasks are not supported for Campaign Activities.
One way is to use a workflow.
Here is the high-level approach:
- Create a workflow with following configurations:
- Entity: Contact
- Trigger: on-demand
- Add a step to create record (task) and set properties accordingly.
- Activate the process.
- Create a view (based on the criteria used in marketing list).
- Go to Advanced Find, look for Contact and choose the view.
- Select all records and click on Run Workflow and select the workflow created.
Please note, workflow will only run for the records selected on current page, if you have multile pages, you need to move to next page and re-run the workflow.
