Partner Translation for NAV 2017

Posted on by 2,255

Hi everyone,

I used the Partner Translation Tool to add Arabic to Dynamics NAV 2017.

I make all steps in the guide

(translate resx files, Import to visual studio and install the msi file..... )

but when I restart Dynamics NAV 2017 and open Language Selection I find only English,

the Arabic is not showing,

I double checked the steps and still not showing,

anyone can help with this?

    Hi Wasim,

I'm facing the similar issue you faced. I want to ask you which Partner translation toolkit did you use?

I used the translation toolkit of NAV 2016. This works for NAV 2016 and I can see my system in Arabic for NAV 2016.

but I need to implement the same in NAV 2017, as you suggested I changed my solution built to the version i'm using in NAV 2017 i.e CU 5 version. I cleaned the solution then rebuit it but I cannot find the language installed in NAV 2017.

Can you suggest me on this.

    the problem solved.

all what was missing is changing the version of the solution in visual studio to (10.0.0.0) and rebuild it.

    Hi

Have you installed the language package on server and windows the .msi file

generally it will be available in the Installation folder (Role Tailored client folder), in your case you need to develop.
