You could work with "GDT Where-used-tool" or the Where-Used-Tool contained in OMA or "Statical Prism". These tools show all relations between tables and their fields, also relations to reports, pages, codeunits, ...

A developer lic. is needed to export all tables as text ... OR someone creates that text file for you on base of demo/cronus database and provides it for you. ;-)

    Hi,

    1) Sales Header (Primary Key - "Document Type",No.)

One Sales Header can have multiple Sales Lines (Key - Document No., Line No.)

    2) Once you Post Sales Order > Shipment > It would post the shipment record in following tables.

Sales Shipment Header (Key - No.)

One Sales Shipment Header can have multiple Sales Shipment Lines (Key - Document No., Line No.)

Sales Order No. would flow to Sales Shipment Header.

    3) Once you Post Sales Order > Invoice> It would post the Invoice record

Sales Invoice Header (Key - No.)

Sales Order No. would flow to Sales Invoice Header.

One Sales Invoice Header can have multiple Sales Invoice Lines (Key - Document No., Line No.)

    4) Once you Post Return Sales Order > Shipment > It would post the Return Receipt record

Return Receipt Header (Key - No.)

One Return Receipt Header can have multiple Return Receipt Lines (Key - Document No., Line No.)

    5) Once you Post Return Sales Order > Invoice> It would post the Credit Memo record

Sales Cr. Memo Header (Key - No.)

One Sales Cr. Memo Header can have multiple Sales Cr. Memo Lines (Key - Document No., Line No.)

    Hope this helps.

you won't find all the table relations in the same article, it is specialy usefull for business inteligence developers, i´ve invested much time to find out the best key fields between them to build cubes and data warehouse to create reports and dashboards, would be useful to help you if you say what you need the information for, then i can suggest a couple of tables and they key fields
