Partially released batch, no data in APTran table

Dynamics 2015 CU2 -- the team released a check batch which seemed to have gone fine, but checking back in the "Release AP Batches" screen, the batch shows partially released. We tried again, and if you close/re-open the screen it is still sitting there.

Event log shows "Processing: Module: 'AP' , Batch: '003987'
An unexpected error has occurred while releasing batch '003987' . Please contact Microsoft Support for assistance with this batch. Release has been cancelled."

I threw a copy into our dev server to play around, and I ran the AP_6019_DEBUG script. One of the error messages in line was: "Debug...Step 22000:Create WRK GLTran acct does not exist"

I have tried setting the batch in the Batch table to status 'H', and re-releasing it, but it seemed to cause some other issues -- the Release AP batch screen listed the batch with no other info besides "Status = Held". Trying to release this gave us a message that the batch was out of balance, however I ran a script that joins APTRAN and APDOC and is meant to show you differences between CURYDOCBAL and LINETOTAL for each. I get no results.

It seems the batch info never made it to the APTrans table, if that makes sense?

Any advice or direction on this would be fantastic!

Thanks!

    Dear K,

Set the batch status back to inprocess and see  if you can delete it, or add its trans. It's not going to release with out the aptran records.

Thank you for the help! Pardon my ignorance, but how exactly do I do that :)

I see non-released status options for items in the batch table as Balanced, On Hold, Multiple, Suspended, and Voided.

    Thanks!

    Dear Kyle,

Setting the batch status field to B or Balanced should allow you to bring up the batch and delete it.

    Best,

    Jana
