Hi Experts,
Curious to know about the reason behind missing values (Physical Revenue) in inventory transactions inquiry form in AX 2012 R3.
This is happening randomly, some lines do display and some won't. Item model groups being used are (Weighted Average &FIFO), Include physical value is active in both item model groups.Facing issue with items related to both item model groups.
And kindly advise the best place to look for item wise revenue generated from sales orders.
Hi Zubair,
It looks strange that the value is sometimes visible and recorded but not all of the time.
Can you identify some differences in the items that are used in this sales order?
Do they have a different setup in regards to inventory valuation, costing or something alike?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
Main accounts for revenue exists.
By random i meant, regardless of item/item group/transaction type, and mainly i'm looking for sales orders. I did a deep dive analysis but still could not find a concrete reason.
Below transactions screen shot is of single SO & it's invoice but with different items, their are missing values for some while other display the value.
Hi Zubair,
Its inventory/setup/posting/posting. Check that you have your physical sales revenue accounts setup for all of your items.
I would assume that this is the case.
Can you possibly elaborate on the issue? You mentioned that this occurs randomly. Yet, can you identify whether this happens for a specific item/item group / transaction type...?
Best regards,
Ludwig
Hi Ludwig,
Thanks for responding.
Yes,we always post packing slip before invoicing.
Inventory posting matrix - do you mean item group and inventory posting profile setup.
Hi,
Do you always post the packing slip or sometimes directly the invoice?
Can you share the inventory posting matrix details for the setup of the physical revenue accounts and what has been configured there?
Many thanks,
Ludwig
