Error - Chrome won't open D365 CRM

Yesterday I cleared my cache/cookies due to a project we were working on and then I started getting an error and am not able to get into CRM at all.

The error specifically says the text below on a blank white screen.

"An error has occurred.

Try this action again. If the problem continues, check the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Community for solutions or contact your organization's Microsoft Dynamics 365 Administrator. Finally, you can contact Microsoft Support."

Still not working after a reboot. But it works in Chrome incognito mode or in Edge.

We migrated to D365 Sales about 6 months ago. The administrator was making updates to our opportunity process when this happened, however no one else is experiencing the issue in my organization.

Any ideas on what I or my administrator could try or look into to get it working in regular Chrome?

    Hi,

Have you tested on firefox, edge, other browser and stills facing the issue with a particular User?

Have you check if this is happening to all users or just single user in your organization?

If it is just single user, I would check this user's license in MS admin portal.  If the user has license for CRM, I would further check user role to make sure proper role is assigned for user to access CRM.

If this is happening to all users, I would check service health under CRM admin center and also notation under MS admin center to see if there are any indication of issue with the server.  If all seems normal, I would file a support ticket in CRM admin center.

    regards

Yes, it works on Edge. It also works on Chrome Incognito mode, but just not on reglular Chrome. I've never had issues up until now.

My admin confirmed everything is fine with my license and user. No one else having the issue. Admin believes it to be some kind of Chrome issue. Any thoughts?

    Hello,

Would say to confirm if you have local credential cache in Control Panel\User Accounts\Credential Manager.

Moreover, you could test out in another machine as well.

    Try

    - removing cache's chrome again

    - remove temp files windows> run > %temp%

    - restart your device

    - Login and enter dynamics app from Office365 site

    Hi!

One of our users also experiences the issue after clearing up the cookies and caches. We went through the mentioned suggestions, but still no success.

Do you have any other ideas that we can do?

    Thanks,

    Luca

Just experienced this issue in Edge. After deleting cache I was not able to enter CRM again. Trying from an InPrivate window worked. I did a Reset in Edge (Settings - Reset Settings) and it worked instantly after that.

Hi Alytle, I also faced same issue. CRM was opening in incognito but not in regular chrome browser. I created "new Chrome profile" and it started working for me. Please give a try and let us know.

    Thanks,

    Anand

Using Chrome (incognito) there are several JS errors...

shim.js?v=1.2.770:1 [MailApp.BootManager] Message: Failed to read the 'localStorage' property from 'Window': Access is denied for this document.
