Importing bulk invoices in Business Central

Posted on by 1,654

Hi All,

I have 300+ sales invoices record as well as PDF and I want to import the sales invoices in Business Central. Is there any way I can import the records as well as the attachment with each invoice in bulk and in one go.

Also, If I upload these PDF invoices in SharePoint , can I add SharePoint link of all the records against them?

Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks in Advance

    Hello,

Yes there is way to import all the 300+ Sales Invoices at one time using Web Services, you can also use the 3rd party tool like SmartConnect to transfer data from source to Business Central.

As per JAngle( "Josh Anglesea") said you can use below links to transfer attachment as well as link.

For the adding a link use this: joshanglesea.wordpress.com/.../ and for the attachment use the attachments API endpoint: docs.microsoft.com/.../dynamics_attachment

Don't forget to help the community by verifying the answer if your question has been answered. It will let others know that the topic has verified answer.

Use the Post function to create an incoming document record and then Patch with the pdf attachment. Note the ID value returned from the Post stage is needed for the Patch stage.

I would use power automate or logic apps to do this.
