Releasing multiple production orders.

When creating multiple production orders in the planning worksheet, I am able to select all lines then move to firm planned with one action message. However, when I try to do the same from Firm planned to released production orders, only one production order at a time is created despite all firm planned orders being selected. This results in having to go to process -> change status - > released 50 to 100 times. is this a known bug? Is there a solution to this?
