Annual Accounting period more than 12 months

Posted on by 75

Possible to have more than 12 periods for one fiscal accounting year?

Example period 13 solely for audit adjustment. User will have choice of generating financial report for period to include or exclude audit adjustment.AccountingPeriod13.jpg

Inge is correct but if you want a 13th period, you have to set it up in accounting periods. You could put 3/31/22 as the starting date so it is a one day accounting period. This is not necessary, post your entries to 3/31 and reclose your year, that's all you need to do.
