How to change a due date on a posted Journal

Invoivces are uploaded into AX in Purchase ledger > Journals>Invoice journal. The journal date was edited to a future date by a year and it was expexcted that the due date will change automatically and the journal was posted. It was realised that the due date did not change after the posting.

Is there a way of changing the due date on a posted journal.

Which tables does the due date impact in AX.

You need to go to Accounts payable/Common/Vendor invoices/Open vendor invoices.

Select the invoice whose due date you want to change. Click on Settle open transactions. You can change the due date there.

Hi,

DueDate is stored in table VendInvoiceJour. Cross-reference helps us to know the tables where this duedate is reference/used. Below links helps you to setup and use cross-reference.

Pfenz, you will not need any customization to change the due date on vendor invoices.

You do not need to worry about the table(s) which will be impacted. The invoice will be selected automatically for payment as the new due date at the time when you create payment proposal
