Shortly after transition, we noticed some of the cost centres were linked to supplier accounts.Our support partner explained that this had happened due to a duplication in sequential numbering on the individual records. Correcting this was down by the partner this time we want to do it internally but when we go to edit it does not allow us to change it, how do we go about breaking that link and let us rename the Cost Centre dimension
Assuming your partner used Operating units to setup your cost centers, you can change the names from Organization administration>Organizations>Operating units, finding the record you wish to update, then click Edit and make the change.

When you mention that cost centers are linked to supplier accounts, I do assume this is one of the default dimensions? What exactly did you intend to edit or change? The dimension set on the supplier or something different?
