Reversal of Free Text Invoice in AX 2012

Hi,

I am doing free text invoice only for one of my company and I found there is some mistakes in some of them. I could manage to do it for one or two but for others the option of "Reverse Transaction" is disabled. Any idea why it is like this for some of the invoices?

    Under the General ledger configuration, you have a option of enabling correction of Free text invoice. Enable it, post enablement you will have a correction button on Free text invoice form.

    Hi Nitesh,

    I cannot find the button called "Cancel Fiscal Document" under Invoice tab in Free Text Invoice. So I am not able to proceed with the solution you have suggested.

    Sorry, is it possible can you please tell me what do you mean by General Ledger Configuration? I cannot find an option called the same.

    I know this is an old post - but this is a license key that needs to be enabled, and is usually not enabled in the standard Contoso data sets. Hope that helps - I know I've run into this issue in more than one project!

    Hi,

    I am not sure if this issue is related to license key. "Reverse transaction" button is enabled only when transaction is settled or closed. If the free text invoice is not settled against any payment, reverse transaction button will not be enabled. I hope this will help!!
