Personalized Attachements in Marketing E-Mails

Hey Experts,

one of our customers wants to send out digital receipts to contacts. As we are talking about donation receipts which are send out in bulk and in our scenario approx. 700.000 mails we are looking for solutions that are capable of handling such an amount.

My first idea was just to use exchange online and the normal crm-emails, however exchange online has daily limits which are way less than what we need. I then was looking into the marketing app and the realtime journey. From the amount of emails to send out per day the app is capable of handling this amount. I was than looking into a way how we can upload personalized attachments to a marketing e-mail and only found the default way of choosing the upload not dynamically by browsing the asset library of the crm.

So my question now is:
Does anybody has an idea whether the marketing app is capable of sending out personalized attachments with an email that is defined for example in a real time journey?
Or do we have the possibility to trigger the email send in code (c#)?

Many thanks,
Alan

    Hi AlanCRM23,

I'm afraid this isn't something OOTB can do; all files uploaded in the marketing application must first be uploaded to the library before they can be used.
When using a file in an email it is automatically converted in HTML to the id and link of the file in the library,
and the whole process is specific and cannot be dynamic.

But you can design a marketing email using dynamic fields to design different receipts for different recipients.
The only caveat is that the receipt received by the recipient in this manner is not in document form.

    Best Regards,
    Haig LIu
