Start time cannot be after the estimated arrival time

The start time in the picture below shows that it is prior to the actual arrival time - why would this cause an error?

    Hi Kim,

I tested in my environment and did not encounter this error.

We need to check if there is some Javascript causing it.

Edit the form of Bookable Resource Booking. Chaneg properties of fields Start Time and Actual Arrival Time, select Events tab, check whether there is any OnChange event.

If so, edit it the event and see its library and function.

Edit the library in the form libraries, search for Start time cannot be after the estimated arrival time.

Then find its condition, the keyword is if. Edit the condition, swap the positions of Start time and estimated arrival time.

    Save and publish the form.

    Kim,

This is the time the booking was created - the start time from scheduling.  It can vary from actual arrival time - say a technician is running late.  You should NOT update the default script provided by Microsoft.  If you're still encountering issues, please let me know.

    Hi Kim.

The Booking records are designed to move the status from Scheduled to In Progress in real-time from the Mobile app or Schedule Board.

When moving to In Progress, the Start Time is updated to the current time. The same happens to the End Time when updating to Complete. It is essential to calculate the duration of the booking.

If you need to update the status from the form, you should update the Start Time too. Maybe a business rule can help you with it.

    Regards,

    Gabriel.

It was determined that only the Classic form was having this issue and that we should just remove read only from the fields to allow them to adjust times as needed.

    Hi

In our use scenario users basically always uses Form to update booking statuses. I would like to make changes to get rid of this errors. Can you clarify the suggested solution how i should update Start Time via business rule?

    Thanks!

    Hi Gabriel

My form does not automatically adjust the Start and End Time on change of Booking Status. What do I need to do for the same?

    Hi Gabriel

In my environment - The Start Time and End Time do not update automatically on change of Status.

Is there anything I need to enable.
