Cancel transfer order

Hi,

I have created one transfer order. I want to cancel the transfer order without deleting the TO.

I will cancel the transfer order partially.

Could you please explain me where we have the option for cancel the transfer order in AX 2009?

    Hi,

    In AX, we don't have a process for cancel the transfer order. if you have made the shipment you can't do cancel  transfer order. Otherwise, the item transaction is still in the ordered status  you can remove and change the item as well as quantity in the transfer order and also we can the change the item & quantity for picked item after cancelling the picking list for the same line.

    Note: Once shipment made for the transfer order we need to receive the transfer order.  In this case, if you want to cancel the  transfer order - again you need to create one more transfer order to move the items from warehouse to warehouse.

    Hi Muthusamy,

    Thanks for your reply. In my case the transfer order status is created only. I could change the transfer order quantity. But they are expecting to cancel order. May be the term cancel is confusing.

    I have noticed that, there is one option in the line level Functions > Deliver reminder, and click cancel quantity. The header transfer status is changed to received and line Remaining status changed to Nothing.

    I am not aware of Deliver reminder.

    Hi Hari,

    Yes, you can cancel the remaining quantity for the shipment.

    For e.g. you have 10 quantity in the transfer order. Initially you can cancel the whole quantity by using delivery remainder option.

    When you shipped 5 quantity from the warehouse, then you can cancel the remaining 5 quantity by using delivery order. 

    When shipment done, we cant cancel the quantity. Other than that, we dont have status called "Cancelled" in the transfer order document.

    the status will change based on the quantity remain in shipment & receipt.
