When looking through the tables that are available for running a bulk deletion job, I don't see the "Activities" table. I want to clean up data in this table and don't want to have to do it via the advanced find by deleting 250 records at a time. Does anyone know how I can add this table to the list within the bulk deletion job wizard? Or if its named something different within this window?
Thanks,
Stephen
Hey Gabriel.
YOu have an interesting point on community.dynamics.com/.../customer-guide-how-to-reduce-activitypointerbase. Basically, ActivityPointer collects common data of different activities (phoneCalls, emails, appointments, etc). So besides using Advanced Find, you can take the other approach mentioned on that article: connect to the database and check which type of activity has the biggest number of records (Typically, emails). And then, use a BulkDeletionJob to delete that particular type of record (Emails).
Regards,
Thanks Daniel! That makes sense and I was thinking about that after I posted my question. Thanks again for your help!
