Hello,
We are using D365 for Marketing Application for distributing survey invitations through Marketing Campaigns and I wonder is there anyway to remove or hide CRM tracking token from the subject line of email with out disabling it in CRM(required by my Service Desk ).
I know that D365 for Marketing uses separate email domain to send the emails and I can not figure out a way to disable that tracking token within D365 for Marketing Application.
Any idea would be appreciated!
I would also welcome any suggestions on sending Survey Invitations from CRM without those tracking tokens.
Thanks,
Sunny
Hello Aga,
Thanks for the response, I did try adding ;data-msdyn-tracking=false to my Email Snippet but its not working. I'm getting some exception message while trying to send the email with ";data-msdyn-tracking=false".
Hi Sunny,
While there is no easy option on UI, as a workaround - please try adding "data-msdyn-tracking=false" at the end of URL.
e.g.:
- example.com;data-msdyn-tracking=false (for URL with a parameter).
Please let us know if this workaround worked for you.
Thank you,
Aga
Hi Sunny,
As of now, it is not possible. Please add this idea and vote for it on our "Ideas" website (https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/list/?forum=dfa5b83d-9e4c-e811-a956-000d3a1bef07) if you think this functionality is needed.
It is already possible though to disable tracking for links in email content -> when you are inserting a link to the email editor (using [Button] design element) , on the right side you would see the option to track / not track. This inserts an attribute which indicates to track/ not track the link. During sending process, this attribute is considered and the output email contains just a plain link if the "not track" option is selected.
Best Regards,
Aga
