GP 2015 Fixed Asset Report tracking

GP 2015 Fixed Asset user. We are an airport and need to now be able to print reports showing assets that were purchased with federal money. I was thinking of adding that information under either Custodian or Manufacturer Name fields in the Cards General window as we currently don't use those fields but don't know if we can run reports with those. Or if there is a report that would have that information that i can open in excel and sort by it. Thank you for your help.

You can use those fields but you need to use either smartlist in GP or query sql table FA00100 to get the required report.

Hello Sonya,

I looked at a report from each section of our FA Reporting and i dont see an option to restrict by Custodian or Manufacturer. I dont see this being as an options.

A possible option if you would like to use Custodian or Manufacturer would be to create a Smartlist that can pull the information you would like to see. The smartlist can then be exported to Excel.

If your only looking to see the information in the Fixed Assets General Window, you base the Smartlist off the Asset General Master. You choose what fields you want to see and then use Restrictions with the Search window to filter the Custodian or Manufacture Name.
