Notes Rollup - Show Notes from Child in Parent

Is there a way to treat Notes similar to how Rollup Views can be created for Account/Contacts in terms of showing child items in the parent?

In my situation I have a parent which will have some notes and the child records can also have some notes.  Is there a way to configure so that the parent records could show the notes in the child records?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Can you try creating quick view form in child entity and add subgrid of notes on quick view form.

Now insert quick view form on parent entity.

    Hi jlmccormack,

Unfortunately, if you want to display the notes of the child record in the parent record, there is currently no OOTB way. We can only create the same notes with the child records for the parent record to achieve this requirement.

We will use power automate to create notes.

Whenever a note is created, flow is automatically run, the condition is that the record related to this note has a parent record, then create the same note for this parent record.

In this way, the same note as the child record will appear in the parent record.

Please let me know if you accept this solution, and if so, I will provide you with screenshots of specific steps.

    Hi Bipin Kumar,

Partner, I do not think it is possible with the help of Quick View.

If I answer your question then please mark it as verified.

Let me know if I can provide you with more details.

    Thanks
