Hi,

Is anyone aware of a predefined role for a warehouse clerk that will allow him or her to view inventory transactions and balances but not cost information?

I think there is a role for the Warehouse Worker.

Are you think on permission role or user profiles? What is the way you posting warehouse documents; do you use pick/put away documents?
