Timeout of vendor posted journal report

Hi folks.

My vendor posted journal report times out when i run it for 30 days. Digging further i have realized that the tmp table used in report was in memory, so did the following

1. Change table type to tempdb

2. Change cluster index from surrogate to dimension attribute value combination idx.

3 Synch db

4.Refresh data set in VS, rebuild & redployed to AX

5 Restaretd SQL reporting service

Unfortunately it still times out. Next i tried running it as batch & increase user timeout session based on this MS artticle, however still it timed out.

Cannot change the query of the report from inner join to exits join as then no data is being returned in the report.

There are no customization in the report, please suggest a fix for this issue.

Report path AP>Report>Transaction>Vendor>Vendor posted payment journal.

Error received during timeout is shared below.

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond
