Hello, for the items that aren't working correctly, try checking that the Item card has the following settings:

    Replenishment System = Prod. Order

    Manufacturing Policy = Make-to-Stock

    Reordering Policy = Maximum Qty.

    Maximum Inventory > 0

If you are using planning then look at the following field on Item card like

    Reordering policy

    Safety Lead Time

    Safety Stock Quantity

    Reorder Point Parameters

    etc

Check the planning tab in Item Master.

Agree with Mohana, there might be many reasons. Check e.g. location settings, reserves, settings for replenishment of certain items.

    Dear Sir,

Suppose 5 items are in sale Order. when we calculate plan in order planning. Some items have inventory available as per sale order but it shows in order planning for production.

As per your suggestion what can we set in item card that those items have inventory available not show in order planning for production. Second:- If items inventory is not available as per sale order it show in order planning is not a issue but we make order for production as per demand qty. then it not remove from Order plaaning until sale order invoiced.

is question strike out by mistake or intentionally?

Order planning depends upon lot of parameters on Item card.

Like replenishment system, safety stock etc
